Desert Reflections in Pink and Purple
I spent several months travelling the infamous Canning Stock Route from Wiluna in Western Australia to Halls Creek in the Northern Territory in a 4WD convoy. My friend and I were in one 4WD, while a group of others joined in their own vehicles, which included two 2WD cars and a motorbike! As we travelled west along the Route, we’d stop each night, set up camp, and relax by the bonfire. We’d try to find stops alongside water so that we could replenish our stocks. Once the sun had set and things had quietened down, I’d often set off to take photos in the post sunset-light. I photographed this water scene with its pink-purple sky and water reflection using Fuji Velvia ISO 50 transparency film.
