Desert Silhouette
Spindly desert oaks and bush create a beautiful silhouette and contrast to the soft pinks and purples of the sky, set off by the moon. I spent several months travelling the infamous Canning Stock Route from Wiluna in Western Australia to Halls Creek in the Northern Territory in a 4WD convoy. My friend and I were in one 4WD, while a group of others joined in their own vehicles, which included two 2WD cars and a motorbike! As we travelled west along the Route, we’d stop each night, set up camp, and relax by the bonfire. This was often when I’d set off to take photos in the night light. I photographed this scene using Fuji Velvia ISO 50.
