Water meditation
There is a small group of local swimmers who regularly dive into the deep waters of the bay. We each have our reasons, our ‘why we do it’, but one of the common reasons is the sheer beauty of the open water and the tranquillity of that early morning dip. I particularly love the mornings where the pre-sunrise light casts a soft pink-purple hue across the horizon, rendering the water a deep, inky green colour. Being in that environment is balm for the mind, heart, and soul. We take time to give thanks and to remember this vast planet that we’re all a part of.
